RDA Tauranga uses nearly $5,000 worth of hay in a year to feed its 12 horses.

Apart from grass, hay is the single most important feed that we provide our horses. As grass is not plentiful year-round, hay is a critical part of our feed program.

The cost of being the major sponsor of RDA Tauranga’s hay is $1,500 which about represents the actual cost that RDA incurs to cut and bale the hay grown here at our Welcome Bay property.

The benefits are negotiable to suit the needs of the sponsor. Recognition for sponsors and benefactors would include:

• Naming the hay-shed after the sponsor or in the name of a person the benefactor wants to recognise (such as someone who has died or done something that the benefactor wishes to recognise)
• Acknowledgement of your support on our web site with a link to your web site
• Acknowledgement in one or more of our newsletters
• Opportunity to display your own signage at our Welcome Bay Facilities as well as prominently on the Hay Shed
• Media Release will be issued about the sponsorship
• Open invitation to visit our facilities and bring clients or other guests
• Entitled to use RDA visuals in your marketing materials
• Right to renew the sponsorship at the end of the 12 month period
• Other benefits to meet the marketing needs of the sponsor are negotiable

RDA Tauranga is registered as a charity so donations are tax deductible.
