‘I haven't been to the centre personally so can't comment on question 6. However I know that the parent has been very pleased with the service offered. The child loves riding and has been energized by going to lessons. He talks about it frequently and it is the highlight of his week. Riding has helped with his stability and muscle control, as well as his self confidence.”
“Fantastic for our special needs children who gain an enormous amount of confidence and self esteem from riding for the disabled.”
“My daughter is loving riding and would be happy to continue forever if the space is available.”
“We have seen a significant change for the good in some of the children who have attended, especially one child with severe autism who is now talking and responding. For all children it gave them a focus and an interest which was special to them”
“Very impressed with the safety and care taken”
“Does a great service for people with disabilities who are limited with what they can physically do. It is a life experience along with therapy and has great benefit.”
“Love that it's available to my child, would not have the opportunity otherwise.”
“Fantastic service”
“Very beneficial for our disabled students physically and intellectually”
“Awesome staff, awesome horses, wonderful programmes, just need that indoor arena so rides can be all year round and not get cancelled due to the weather. When rides are cancelled I really feel the impact physically until my next ride (it’s the only form of exercise/therapy I can do)”
“I can't really comment on RDA as my daughter is taken by her teachers. What I have seen of the centre seems good and I think they do a wonderful job”.
“Awesome, fun, big smiles on faces every day they returned from riding.”
“The riding school have helped with our student’s confidence and ability to take risks. It also gives her an understanding of what types of sickness other children cope with. She loves attending riding school but unfortunately her sickness prevents her attending regularly.”
“Caitlin told me the other day that she loves Cisco and would ride every day if she could.”
“Caleb would go every day if he could. He feels very comfortable there”
“They would all be interested in the welfare of their horse and want to take food for them and be a part of their care”
“Shianne looks forward every week to her time with the horses.”
“She loves the people, horses and coming each week”
“He is unable to speak, but he has grown more confident at RDA, is very happy there, and has become accustomed to the routine.”
“Absolutely loved it and wanted more.”
“They all love it and we have great feedback from parents”
“My daughter looks forward to her riding days and loves the horses”
